RED LENTIL AND BACON SOUP


YOU WILL NEED THESE INGREDIENTS

4 people Time 24 minutes

1L ANETO vegetable broth
1 cup red lentils
4 slices of bacon
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
Fresh thyme
virgin olive oil
Sea salt
Pepper

 

DEVELOPMENT

STEP BY STEP
1 Peel and cut the very thin onion. Peel the garlic cloves and leave them whole.
2 Brown the onion and garlic in a saucepan with a few tablespoons of olive oil until the onion is transparent.
3 Stir in the bacon slices cut into small cubes and a few sprigs of fresh thyme, mix for a few minutes.
4 Add the cup of red lentils and mix well to dip in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
5 Stir in ANETO vegetable broth and cook until the lentils are cooked. Serve with fresh thyme if desired.
